Working as a one man art department, Kevin Conran designed the landmark Paramount Pictures feature film, SKY CAPTAIN & THE WORLD OF TOMORROW, which starred Jude Law, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow. The interior and exterior sets, props, characters, vehicles and layouts all derived from his hand. Kevin also designed the films costumes, for which he received the Saturn Award for Best Costume Design.
Shot entirely against blue screen, the film was the first of its kind. Directing the efforts of hundreds of VFX artists, Kevin's unique design and production process helped pave the way for such films as SIN CITY, 300, and James Cameron’s AVATAR.
In addition to theater and TV screens, Kevin's work has appeared in video games, newspapers, magazines, theme parks and national ad campaigns.
